Studio Hours: Monday-Friday 11-4

I tend to book up about 2-3 weeks out. If you are interested in booking a session please schedule accordingly.
(in other words don't call the studio asking if we can shoot one day this week silly goose!)

I'll be taking the summer off therefore the studio will be closed from June-September...with the exception of bellies to babies clients.

Michelle and Co. (lots of company)

Here's a family that I spent a little time with a couple of weeks ago. They are just delightful and have the cutest children. Some of them may look familiar...I shot her sister Jill and her family back in October. Here are some of my favorite shots from our session.

yummy, yummy-licious

I present to you Sir Richard... much more of this yummy-licious boy in the next few days. oh and I'll be adding mommy and daddy yummy-licious too!

This was last year. Good to see those eyelashes aren't going anywhere anytime soon!!

Here is the family. Richard just couldn't go wrong with these genes right?

My goal has never been to take "pretty pictures" but to capture someone personality via still images. It took Richard a while to warm up but when he did...boom! By the middle of our shoot his funny little personality was aglow! He's quite expressive and did I mention yummy-licious?

This is what I and many of my colleagues like to refer to as..."the money shot" cha-ching!

This photo TOTALLY shows what a fun and energetic person Maria is!! You can't help but to fall in love with her just minutes after meeting her.

Jenn and Co.

I've been swamped and I'm just now posting some shots from this recent session.

I really enjoyed shooting these guys. Every family has a vibe and this family has such a cool laid back vibe.

Before knowing Jenn I used to tell my daughter Zoe to go change into something that matched or the control freak in me would kick in and pick out something that "I" thought looked good.

Jenn changed my perspective and how I react when my daughter Zoe puts clothing ensembles together that well how shall I say...look terrible! Let me explain... on any given day you will more than likely find Allison wearing something as follows... purple head band, red polka dot leggings, a green and orange floral shirt and hot pink glitter shoes. Jenn allows Allison to express herself in such a way that I can only imagine will foster a wonderfully confident and creative adult someday. (I heard from a pretty reliable source that her mom did the same with her :)

Thanks Jenn for taming my inner control freak! And for teaching me what's really not important. Now I allow Zoe to express herself and I even praise her for the outrageous ensembles she puts together.

Well here they are... Jenn and Co.

The Greens

Beautiful family and beautiful day. These guys were so much fun. When I left this shoot today I thought a lot about my fairly new profession. All I could think is how fortunate I am to being doing something I am so passionate about. Photographing people is a very intimate experience. I can't tell what it means to me to have people trust me enough to invite me into their families for a short amount of time. I get a huge amount of pleasure thinking about the story and history I'm documenting for the many families I work with.

Thanks, Greens for the invite!

I know what your thinking "what was so funny"? We'll never tell!
