jill (queen of my universe) , king, waffle boy and supermodel of the year!

so this ranks right up there with one of my very favorite and bestest photo shoots EVER! Ever...ya hear me people E-VER! first of all let me tell you who this is. remember jill? my studio manager/production assistant/queen of my universe. you know us creative types really need a "smart" person to help keep us. jill started with shanna nye photographer about 9 months ago...has it really been 9 months? jill we could have had a baby! not together of course. j and g would not approve. anyway she came in and has really straightened me out. so if you are wondering what she does... here goes... books, holiday cards, birth announcements, thank you notes, marketing, post production, keeping me organized, ordering, and serious and i mean serious chit chat all the while listening to pandora radio! did i say serious chit chat? it's a wonder we get anything done!

now... over the past 9 months I've gotten to know her kiddies and they are about the cutest most well mannered children you'll ever met. ( yes jill you may give yourself an o'l pat on the back now) and so as one of the MANY fabulous perks of working for little ol' me she got a free shoot. (not to mention her own stapler and trash can) i know, i know, rein it in shanna... pretty soon she'll think she owns the place.

jill thanks for all that you do, i'm sooo looking forward to the new year with you. you have many great ideas and i think we make a smashing team. now enjoy your lovies...hope you like what you see!

here's brayden and his extremely handsome parents. they are super into photography and have several photos hanging in their house that holly took. brayden will certainly not have a shortage of photos from his life! enjoy this yummy family.

so here is rachel #1's friend (huh? confused?...scroll down to a previous post). hey rachel squared if you guys happen to have any more friends named rachel send them my way.

on to this blog post. i photograph lots of children and let me tell you that jasyn is "one little girl with one big personality". having only spent about an hour with the family i'm pretty sure this "little apple" doesn't fall far from the tree. i really enjoyed my morning with you guys. oh dear i forgot to tell you about this one reallllly bad quality they have. yup just as you suspected...they are gator fans! and pretty darn enthusiastic ones at that. i put my personal feelings aside in the name of professionalism and lauved them anyway. :) thanks guys you were great!


















P.S. LISTEN UP MOMMIES/FASHION COORDINATORS!! check out and study jasyn's yellow batman get-up. this is a great example of what to wear! she had on black leggings, a black batman tank top and yellow tutu. These are the outfits that photographers die for. Good job Rachel! you get a $50 dollar print credit for rockin' out the wardrobe!!!

rachel is friends with the next blog post rachel. both so gorgeous! and their families too. here's rachel with her boys drew and todd. and let me tell how cool it is to see a child experience sand for the first time. drew was amazed. so amazed he ate it several times. you can even see sand particles on his face and around his mouth. so cute!

poor, poor, poor us!

or so we thought. we started shooting and about 10 frames in it started to rain. we ended up have a full on photo shoot under an awning. perhaps not the best conditions but stinkin' cute kids will look good anywhere!

maria + al + richard = FIERCE-NESS!

ok, so maria was the topic of some serious discussion this morning in the studio. i was working on her photos while jill (production assistant/studio maganer/super-woman) looked over and said "in my next life i hope to come back as maria". I said...I KNOW RIGHT?! then i proceeded to tell her that i have literally been shopping before, seen some fierce outfit, shoes, bag or accessory and said..."this is totally maria" and i would want to buy it but in the end i would chicken out! Maria...perhaps you can work some "fierce-ness 101" class for jill and i?

meet lindsey...can you believe she is pregnant with twins?? me either! and due in one month. (i'm certain I was this big with only one :0 ) she's a bellies 2 babies girl and I CAN'T wait to photograph her babies. i think she is just radiant!

so i meet pilar and co. last week. they are such a fun family. i almost had a "rock it out mom" photo shoot with pilar in nyc just recently...maybe next time we are in nyc at the same time. AND just so you know... dadd-o has a special place in my heart...seems i may have met my match in terms of "ones love of burgers". ps going very soon to burger & beer joint! and you should know eduardo that there is a "shake shack" coming to miami next year! i just had a burger from there in ny and when i say YUM... i ain't a playin'! it's a no frills burger wrapped in greasy, cheesy wax paper. oh my let me get back on track. here's this super beautiful family.
