what does your look say?

people are always asking me what their kids should wear on shoots. here are some great ideas, fun color and looks with real personality! have fun when you shop for your kids. even though we might be shooting on the beach in 80 degree heat we can still stick a fun toboggan with pompoms on! or some fantastic hot pink cowboy boots. how about a swim suit with ugs! think layers... accessories, hats, scarves, boots, jewelry! sometimes letting the kids pick out what they wear can be a real hit! here are some great pieces from gap and j.crew. now go shopping and have fun!

"mr. hot dog" and company...

fun sunday morning with mr hot dog and company. if anyone can guess who and why he is called mr hot dog you get a $100 print credit. (good on prints only.) i had so much fun with this family that i don't know where to begin. they are a photographer's dream. they came out ready to have fun and take pictures...all parties willing! very often i get (sorry daddies i'm calling you out now!) fathers who perhaps don't really want to spend time having a "photo shoot" and unfortunately it shows. anyway not the case here. so just for that elizabeth, daddy should get a little special treatment today! maybe a mini father's day. feet up, football and cold beer! i really enjoyed you guys...thanks! oh yeah and the most important element...these kids...BEAUTIFUL! and very well behaved. (this is where mr hot dog and officer heise should give each other a little pat on the back) uh oh i may have just given you a little hint.
