ok... so first of all kathleen is one week away from delivering in these photos! amazing right? I'm pretty sure I looked like this around 6 months. anyway this family was super fun and very easy to photograph! thanks guys had a good time. keep me posted...any day now right!

meet connor, he's so so yummy and such a good sleeper. i seem to be photographing lots of sleepyheads these days. (remember it's key to shoot a newborns within the first 14 days.) connor's mom found out about me through a friend of her's (candace) who i'm in junior league with. look for some super beautiful photos of candace coming up soon. i'm shooting her wedding in november! anyway mary is not in junior league...candace and i will have to work on that!

mary is a bellies & babies package client so look for more photos of connor over the next year!

so this is my bff and her children. when i thought about writing this post and calling her my bff it reminded me of high school. she and i did not attend high school together but nonetheless here's a trip down memory lane. check your yearbook and she if you can find any of these quotes! oh my where do i begin? This is perhaps the most interesting family i've ever shot. dad is from haiti (there is a special little place in my heart for Haiti...never been but hope to someday...right Melis?) mom is from south africa and the kids? miamians! These guys along with many/most miamians is why I live here and love it. I grew up in a very small town in nc. my childhood was wonderful but missing something that i feel is so important...DIVERSITY! therefore i hope to show my children a different life.



i had so much fun with this entire family and mostly these crazy boys, marley and kakhi. look out... flying superman photos coming up next week! and i have much more to say about this cool family. in the meantime here's sneak peek.

i shoot a lot of beautiful babies...but this one! oy vey! there's a lot to be said about a good shaped head. She has such a perfect little face. And quite possibly the biggest "sleepy-head" ever! Mona...I'm in love!

i can't stress to all of the moms out there how important it is to schedule your newborn shoot within the first 14 days of the babies life. the sooner the better! i can even tell a difference in shoots where the baby is 4 days old compared 14.



ethan was born about a week ago and boy is he cute. such a good boy too. i so enojyed this shoot and talking with the very interesting grandmothers was a bonus.

wowie schmowie. i don't even know where to begin. i have known this little cutie for about 5 years...when she really was little. she's grown up so fast and so much in just 5 years. her mom was zoe and charlie's preschool teacher and you all know how important preschool teachers are. she and mrs. gina were such an important part of my children's new lives and i couldn't have asked for a more loving and nurturing team. how many teachers do you know that will heat up your child's lunch in the microwave everyday? well, ms. ana maria will! my daughter zoe still has a photo or her with mrs. ana maria in her bedroom. so imagine how thrilled i was when her mom asked me to photograph shannon. she's having her room redecorated and wants to have some FABU pictures of herself in her room...i'd say...mission accomplished!!! she's FIERCE! right Christian? enough "chatty cathy shanna"! enjoy!

ella and co.

these guys are some of my most very favoritest clients (actually the whole darn grodnick group is!) and we go way back...well at least in terms of my career. i just adore them and and can you believe miss ella is now six months old? what a cutie!! eyelashes for days...ella = natural, shanna = latisse. sometimes life just isn't fair!

this little girl is quite the good sleeper. (reminds me of my zoe.) hair??? does not remind me of my zoe. zoe was bald until about two. adriana has the most beautiful black hair. can't wait to see her in pony tails in about a year. stay tuned. this family purchased my bellies & babies package so you'll see her again around six months and then again when she celebrates tuning one. enjoy this little cutie! (ps: on a side note she had one of the most gorgeous nurseries i've ever seen!)
