family: super cool. laid back, easy going, easy to please...you get it right?
hanging baby shot: this one makes some people nervous...my friend alina can barely look at it. everyone thinks it's amazing. me? it makes me amazingly nervous. why? it's HARD. the amount of sweat my body releases just trying to get this shot is probably dangerous. maybe one day i'm going to just collapse from dehydration. i had just told jill (the studio's super amazing production assistant) that i'm retiring this shot. and then julie comes in to the studio asking all sweet and nice if we can try it. you know those big bowls of halloween candy you have sitting around? yep that's how sweet she is. so could i say no? uh uh! so we went for it and she's a first time mom. this shot is not for the "first time mom faint of heart" but she's a rock.
friend: now if all of the above mentioned drama just wasn't enough pressure...her good friend in dallas is a photographer. her name is jill but i just like to refer to her as "ms. pressure". so it goes without saying that i was one hot mess when i left that morning. (it's perfectly normal to have a margarita and a nap at 11:00 am right? whew, good.)
